Lucknow. VRS of IAS Mohammad Mustafa of 1995 batch of Uttar Pradesh cadre has been approved. Recently IAS Mohammad Mustafa had sent a letter to the state government seeking VRS due to personal reasons. Now the state government has approved the application.
Let us tell you that IAS Mohammad Mustafa has applied for VRS in the Appointment and Personnel Department. Mustafa was currently posted as Principal Secretary, Public Enterprises. Mohammad Mustafa returned from central deputation in August 2020. After this, he was posted as Labor Commissioner.

Let us tell you that in the last two years, many officers from Uttar Pradesh have taken VRS. These include 1987 batch IAS Renuka Kumar, 1988 batch Juthika Patankar and 2003 batch Vikas Gothwal. In July 2023, 2003 batch IAS Rigzian Samphel and 2008 batch IAS Vidya Bhushan are included.
