Coronary Angioplasty Workshop organized at Shri Narayana Hospital, 8 heart complications patients got a new life

Raipur. A two-day “Complex Coronary Angioplasty Workshop” was organized on 9th and 10th June 2024 at Shri Narayana Hospital located in Devendra Nagar, Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. In which “Complex Coronary Angioplasty” was done on eight patients suffering from coronary artery disease (TVD/DVD), chronic total occlusion (100% blockage), chronic kidney diseases, diabetes etc. by the latest prevalent heart technology such as rotablation, cutting balloon, intravascular ultrasound, intravascular lithotripsy.

Let us tell you that after getting coronary artery disease, patients are treated in only three ways, by angioplasty, bypass surgery or medical management, however many of these patients do not want to undergo bypass surgery, so in such a case, properly complex coronary angioplasty is done by the currently prevalent advanced rototripsy, anti grade and retro grade technology and with the help of their related ultra-modern machines.

In this workshop, Chennai’s senior interventional cardiologist Dr. Anand Ganraj, Sri Narayana Hospital’s interventional cardiologist Dr. Manoj Gupta and cardiac anesthetists Dr. C.P. Vatti, Dr. Nishant Trivedi and their cardiac team gave a new healthy life to eight heart complications. All the complications of these patients like chest pain, breathlessness and dizziness etc. almost ended, and after two days of hospital stay, all of them were discharged from the hospital in a completely healthy state.
