Gorakhpur. A shocking incident has come to light from Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Both the parties were gathering in the temple for the wedding, but the groom did not like the bride and refused to marry. After this, there was a lot of uproar between both the parties. Finally the relationship ended. The groom says that the bride is dark in complexion. At the same time, the girl’s family has alleged that the boy’s family is demanding money.
According to the information, the bride and groom’s side, who had gathered for the wedding at Tarkulha Devi temple premises on Friday evening, had a dispute over the colour of the girl. The groom refused to marry the girl before the wedding itself, saying that the girl was dark-skinned. The girl’s side said that the matter was already decided and now the groom’s side is deliberately changing its stance. The matter reached the police.

By late night, both the parties reached a compromise and ended the relationship before it could even begin. It is being told that the marriage of a girl of Tola Vishunpura of Gaunar village of Chaurichaura area was fixed in Haryana state. Some money was also exchanged between both the parties for purchasing goods. Their marriage was to take place on Friday at Tarkulha Devi temple.

For this, the groom and his family members had come here from Haryana. The girl’s parents had also come fully prepared. But, just before the wedding, the groom refused to marry the girl saying that she was dark skinned. Not only this, the groom’s side started demanding the money given to buy the bride’s jewellery before the wedding. There was a dispute between the two sides on this. The matter reached the police. Late night, both the sides settled the matter by reaching a compromise.
