Prajwal Revanna will appear before SIT on May 31 in sexual harassment case, said- I was in depression

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda’s grandson and JDS Lok Sabha MP from Karnataka’s Hassan seat Prajwal Revanna will appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on May 31 in the sexual harassment case. He has claimed that he was suffering from depression. Many women have accused Revanna of sexual harassment and some time ago, many of his sex tapes went viral on social media, after which there was an upheaval in Karnataka politics. After this case came to light, Revanna fled abroad.

Recently, information came to light that after the case escalated, he fled abroad. Prajwal Revanna said in his statement, ‘There was a political conspiracy against me. I went into depression. Some forces in Hassan are working against me because I am moving ahead politically. On the 31st at 10 am, I will be in front of the SIT and will cooperate. I have faith in the judiciary, there are false cases against me, I have faith in the law.’

Prajwal Revanna said that I want to apologize to my family members, my Kumaranna and party workers for not giving proper information about my whereabouts abroad.

‘I wrote a letter to SIT…’

Prajwal further said that when the elections ended on the 26th, there was no case against me. SIT was not formed. 2-3 days after I left, I saw these allegations against me on YouTube. I wrote a letter to SIT through my lawyer and asked for 7 days time.

MP Prajwal Revanna told India Today, “Don’t get me wrong, I will appear before the SIT on May 31 at 10 am and I will cooperate. I have full faith in the judiciary. All these cases against me are false. I believe in the law.” 33-year-old Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna is the grandson of JDS patron and former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. Revanna fled the country to Germany on April 26 after being accused of sexual harassment. In this case, the entire opposition including Congress is attacking JDS and BJP.

Prajwal Revanna called all the allegations against him a political conspiracy and said that he was in depression. He also apologized to JDS leaders and party workers for not disclosing his whereabouts. He said, “I want to apologize to my family members, my Kumaranna (HD Kumaraswamy) and party workers for not giving proper information about my whereabouts abroad. When the elections were over on April 26, there was no case against me. Two or three days after I left, I saw these allegations against me on YouTube. I have asked the SIT for seven days through my lawyer.”
