CG NEWS: FIR against 10 people including former MLA in the case of buying and selling of cemetery land.

Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. On the orders of the court, the Civil Lines Police has registered a case of fraud against 10 people including former MLA Mohitram Kerketta and his son in the case of purchase and sale of cemetery land. The case is being investigated.

Actually, Alok Wilson, living in Vidyanagar, Bilaspur, is a member of Church of Christ Mission in India Kududand. He has complained that the alleged officials of the organization sold one acre of land to former MLA Mohitram Kerketta and his son for Rs 99 lakh 22 thousand 500. The land sold is recorded as a Christian cemetery in the records of the organization.

According to the complainant, the cost of the land is four to five crore rupees. After making the deal at this price, the mutual deal price is said to be Rs 99 lakh. He had complained to the Civil Line Police regarding the matter, but no action was taken. On this he took refuge in the court. On the orders of the court, the police arrested Baron alias Biran Sai Kujur resident of Church of Christ Mission Compound Kududand, Birim Sai Toppo, Deepak Philemon resident of Tikrapara, Mahavir Kujur resident of Uslapur, Hamilton Thomas resident of Omnagar Jarhabhatha, JW Das resident of Raipur, Pushpa Minj resident of Uslapur, Arun Toppo, a crime has been registered under section 403, 406, 420, 467, 468, 120B against former MLA Mohitram Kerketta and his son Shankar Kerketta resident of Uraonpara Polmi police station Pali. The police is investigating the matter.
