Many car and bike riders got buried under the hoarding. The hoarding was supported by an iron angle. Because of this there has been more damage in the accident.

BMC filed a case with the police

Showing seriousness in this accident, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has registered a case with the police in connection with the hoarding accident in Ghatkopar. A case has been registered against the Railways and the private company that installed the hoardings. A demand has been made to take the strictest action against the accused people.
