Lok Sabha Election 2024. Voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections will take place on May 7. In this phase, voting will be held in 10 seats of Uttar Pradesh. Before voting, the villagers of Aligarh Lok Sabha seat have announced to boycott the elections. In many villages falling in Akarabad block of Aligarh police station area, people protested by putting up posters of ‘No road, no vote’.

During this time people talked about boycotting the elections. The villagers allege that the road here has been in bad condition for a long time. Villagers told that due to road problems the youth of the village are not able to get married. During the rainy season, the road becomes a pond, due to which some accident often happens. Many times demands were made to the officials for road construction, but no cognizance was taken.
