Pilibhit. Twelve people were buried under the debris after the mud wall of the house of Dinesh Sharma, resident of Bhasunda village of Bisalpur Kotwali area, collapsed. Two youths died in the accident. 10 people have been injured. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
According to the information, the marriage procession had come to the house of Chhedalal Jatav, resident of village Bhusunda, on Saturday night. A tent was set up near the house of Dinesh Sharma, who lives in the neighbourhood, for the wedding guests and family members to eat. At around 11 pm, the dilapidated wall of Dinesh Sharma’s house suddenly collapsed. 12 people who were eating got buried under the debris of the wall.

There was screaming after the accident. People buried under the debris were quickly pulled out and admitted to Bisalpur Community Health Centre. When the condition became critical, the injured were referred to the district hospital. In the accident, 25-year-old Mahavir of the same village and his relative Chandraveer (35), resident of Lahiya Kota village of Bhuta police station of Bareilly, have died.
