Till 3:00 pm, 48.92% votes were cast in Kairana. Till 3 pm, 42.77% voting took place in Rampur. Till 3 pm in Pilibhit, 48.09 percent voting took place. Till 3 pm, the highest turnout in Saharanpur was 47.44%.

In the first phase, 80 candidates are in the fray for eight seats in Uttar Pradesh. In view of the voting, a large number of local police, PAC and paramilitary forces have been deployed in all eight seats. Let us tell you that ‘India’ alliance has fielded SP candidate on seven out of eight seats and Congress candidate on one seat. Similarly, from NDA side, BJP has candidates on seven seats and RLD has candidates on one seat. BSP has fielded candidates on all eight seats.
