New Delhi. Samajwadi Party has released its manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 on Wednesday. SP National President Akhilesh Yadav held a press conference in Lucknow and released the manifesto. In this manifesto, it has been promised to provide flour instead of wheat available under the free ration scheme, free mobile data worth Rs 500 to every family holding ration card and laptop to the youth.
Samajwadi Party has said in its manifesto that caste based census will be conducted by 2025. On this basis, we will ensure justice and participation to everyone by 2029. By 2025, all government vacancies of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes will be filled. Will ensure participation of all sections of the society in the private sector.
After releasing the manifesto, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that we have called this vision document ‘people’s demand letter, our right’. In this we have the right to save the Constitution, the right to protect democracy, the right to freedom of media, the right to independence and autonomy of democratic institutions, the right to justice and equality, the right to social justice, the right to food, the right to get rid of inflation, Right to be lifted out of poverty, right to live in a safe environment, right to 24-hour electricity, right to education and health for the poor, right to better public transport, right to lodge FIR conveniently have been talked about. There should be no delay in caste census. Caste based census will be conducted by 2025. For farmer welfare, MSP and MSP for all crops should be calculated according to Swaminathan formula. This vision documents this.
SP’s manifesto promises: SP has promised to increase the wages under MNREGA to Rs 450. A promise has also been made to increase the number of working days under MNREGA. If we come to power, the number of working days under MNREGA will be increased to 150. The vacant posts in all government departments will be filled immediately. Apart from this, National Employment Policy and Mission Employment will be established for all. Laptop distribution scheme for youth will be implemented in the entire country. 33 percent reservation will be given for women in jobs of all government departments including police. If SP government is formed, girls will get free education from KG to PG. 33 percent reservation will be ensured for women in Parliament and Assembly. Women from families living below the poverty line will get a monthly pension of up to Rs 3,000 per month. If SP comes to power, caste census will be conducted by the year 2025. SP has promised in its manifesto to provide flour instead of wheat available under the free ration scheme. This flour will be good in terms of nutrition and quality. In terms of quality, the flour will be at par with the best companies of the country. Apart from this, every family holding a ration card will also get free mobile data worth Rs 500. With free data, there will be no ‘digital divide’ between the digital rich and the digital poor.
