There was panic at Barabanki Junction railway station on Sunday when GRP received a phone call and the caller said that he has placed suspicious explosive material in the Gwalior Barauni Express which will cause an explosion in a short time and many people will be killed. On this information, Barabanki Police Bomb Disposal Team Dog Squad stopped the train at Barabanki Junction for about 50 minutes and conducted an intensive search.

During this time, it came to light that the information was misleading and SP GRP Lucknow Prashant Verma immediately gave the responsibility to Barabanki GRP team to trace the caller, within just 48 hours the caller was arrested and presented in the court and his mobile phone was seized. The phone has also been confiscated.

SHO GRP Devendra Kumar Dwivedi said that no previous criminal history has been found of the person who gave misleading information through phone call. Accused Guddu had a dispute with his wife over some issue, due to which the angry accused gave such misleading information over phone to the RPF control room Prayagraj to harass the police. At present the accused is being produced in the court and sent to jail.
