Lok Sabha Election 2024. Congress has not yet announced candidates from Rae Bareli and Amethi for the Lok Sabha elections. If media reports are to be believed, the names of Priyanka Gandhi from Rae Bareli seat and Rahul Gandhi from Amethi have been finalized. The Congress party is making a concrete strategy for its strongholds Rae Bareli and Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
It is believed that Priyanka Gandhi may contest elections from Rae Bareli. Congress will open its cards on both the seats after April 26. Actually, Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Wayanad, where voting is to be held on 26th April. Elections in Amethi and Rae Bareli are to be held in the fifth phase on May 20. The date for filing nominations for both the seats is between April 27 and May 3.

The District Executive received indications of Priyanka’s entry into the battle of Rae Bareli on Saturday. District Committee officials had reached 10 Janpath in February requesting Priyanka to contest elections from here. Due to alliance with SP, Congress has got 17 seats.
