Lok Sabha Election: Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra will contest elections! Congress can give ticket from this seat of UP

Lok Sabha Election 2024. Congress is still in suspense on Rae Bareli and Amethi seats of Uttar Pradesh for Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, former interim Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law and famous businessman Robert Vadra has given a big statement. In an interview given to a TV channel, on the question of contesting elections from Rae Bareli or Amethi, Vadra said that the public wants him to contest elections. People of both these constituencies want someone from the Gandhi family to represent them.

Robert Vadra, husband of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi, has expressed his desire to contest the elections. Vadra has said that people want him to enter politics. Vadra said that he gets requests to contest elections from many areas across the country. He said that he is a member of the Gandhi-Nehru family, so it is difficult to stay away from politics. However, Robert Badra also said during the conversation that he wants Priyanka Gandhi to reach Parliament first, only then her turn will come.

Robert Vadra said, “I have been campaigning in Rae Bareli and Amethi since 1999. When people see how BJP always targets me with ED during elections, then people demand that I should also come to Parliament to answer. People demand that I come to Parliament, be it Rae Bareli seat, Amethi seat, Moradabad seat, Telangana or any seat in Delhi.”

Let us tell you that Congress, which is contesting elections with Samajwadi Party in UP, is contesting elections on 17 seats from the alliance quota. The names of candidates have been finalized on all the Congress seats, but there is confusion on Amethi and Rae Bareli seats. Candidates have not been announced yet for both the seats.
