Traders of ‘innocence’ in CG: Police goes hunter against child pornography, FIR registered against 17 accused for sharing obscene content

Rohit Kashyap, Mungeli. Mungeli Police has taken major action against those posting obscene photos, videos and other content related to children on various social media sites Facebook, Instagram, Google platforms. A case has been registered against 11 accused in several police stations of the district. Besides, many accused in the case have also been arrested.

Let us tell you that Senior Superintendent of Police Girija Shankar Jaiswal had given instructions to take action on the cyber tipline report received from NCRB New Delhi. After which crime has been registered in 17 cases under the IT Act.

According to the information, 5 cases have been registered in Police Station City Kotwali Mungeli, 6 cases have been registered in Police Station Lormi, 4 cases have been registered in Police Station Patharia and 2 cases have been registered in Police Station Lalpur. Further action is being taken against all the accused in the case.
