Newsroom Team: Former Bharatiya Janata Party MP Ramtal Chaudhary has joined the Congress Party. With this, it has been decided that in place of Subodh Kant Sahay, Ramtahal Chaudhary will contest from Ranchi parliamentary seat in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. In Delhi, Ramtahal Chaudhary joined the party in the presence of Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Mir and Minister Alamgir Alam. Ramtahal said that he has joined Congress after being influenced by the policy of Congress.

Ramtahal is a big leader of Kudmis

Ramtahal Chaudhary is a big leader of Kudmis and was a strong leader of BJP for a long time. He defeated Subodh Kant Sahay in elections several times. This time the Congress party has decided to cancel the ticket of Subodh Kant Sahay and give the ticket to Ramtal Choudhary. The biggest reason for this is that the number of Mahato voters is very high in Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency.
