IPS Sadanand Vasant made DG of NIA, Piyush Anand became Director General of NDRF

New Delhi. A major administrative reshuffle has taken place before the Lok Sabha elections. IPS Sadanand Vasant has been appointed Director General (DG) of the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Whereas IPS Piyush Anand has been made the DG of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). An order in this regard has been issued by the Central Government on Wednesday.

According to the order issued, IPS Sadanand Vasant will replace Dinkar Gupta. Dinakar Gupta is going to retire on March 31. Apart from this, Rajiv Kumar has been made DG of Police Research and Development Bureau.
