Lok Sabha Election 2024: BJP election committee meeting today, candidates can be decided on 24 seats of UP

Lucknow. BJP's Central Election Committee (CEC) will meet in Delhi on Saturday. In this meeting to be held in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, apart from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy CMs of UP Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, BJP State President Bhupendra Chaudhary, General Secretary Organization Dharampal will participate. It is being said that after the election committee meeting, the list of candidates for other 24 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh can be released. The quota seats of allies will also be decided in the meeting.

It is noteworthy that BJP has so far released the list of 51 Lok Sabha candidates in UP. Two seats have been given to RLD and one seat to Subhashpa, while two seats are to be given to Apna Dal (S). In such a situation, candidates have to be decided for the remaining 24 seats of BJP quota. For this, BJP Core Committee meeting was held in Delhi on 18 March. In this, churning has taken place on the names of candidates for UP Lok Sabha. Now this has to be approved in the CEC meeting. After this the list will be released.
