Amethi. The process of changing names is going on in Uttar Pradesh. Now the names of 8 railway stations in Amethi district have been changed. Union Minister and Amethi MP Smriti Irani had written a letter to the Home Minister and the Railway Minister demanding change of names of eight railway stations in the district.
Apart from this letter, MP Smriti Irani has also written a letter to the Aviation Minister. In which there has been a demand to change the name of the airport of the district. Due to the initiative of Union Minister Smriti Irani, the district has got recognition for the names of cultural and great men. Let us tell you that after the coming of Yogi Adityanath government in UP, the names of many places and stations have been changed.

The trend of changing names has been seen in the BJP government. Now Amethi's name has also been added to this list. Amethi MP and Union Minister Smriti Irani has now changed the names of old railway stations to link them with great men and eternal culture.
Names of these 8 railway stations changed; Kasimpur railway station halt's name changed to Jais City. Jais railway station was named Guru Gorakhnath Dham. The railway station built was named Swami Paramahamsa. Misrauli railway station was named Maa Kalika Dham. Name of Nihalgarh Railway Station is Maharaja Bijli Pasi. Name of Akbarganj Railway Station is Maa Ahorva Bhavani Dham. Warisganj Halt was named Amar Shaheed Bhale Sultan. Fursatganj railway station was named Tapeshwarnath Dham.
