Ashutosh Tiwari, Jagdalpur. A painful road accident has occurred in Jagdalpur of Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. An auto filled with devotees going to visit the fair organized in Chitrakote on the occasion of Mahashivratri overturned in Gadhada valley. 3 people including 2 innocent people died in the accident. While 16 people are injured. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident and started investigation. This case is of Lohandiguda police station area.
According to the information, about 20 villagers of Kilepal area were going in an auto to see the fair organized in Chitrakote on the occasion of Mahashivratri. During this time the auto went out of control and overturned in Gadhada valley. As soon as information about the accident was received, police teams from Kodenar and Lohandiguda police stations reached the spot. In this accident, 3 people including two children have died. 16 people have been injured, who have been admitted to the Medical College, Jagdalpur for treatment. The deceased have been identified as Sanmukh Gawde (10 years old), Nehru Poyam (7 years old) and Payko (30 years old).
The injured were taken to Bade Kilepal Hospital with the help of 108 for treatment. From there he was referred to Mekaj. After getting information about the incident, apart from Kodenar police station, the team of Lohandiguda has reached the spot.
