Raipur. There is great news for farmers. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has announced to give the difference amount of paddy to the farmers on March 12, about Rs 13 thousand crores. CM made this announcement while opening the link court in Pathalgaon.
CM Sai has also announced Rs 32 lakh for the construction of smooth CC route to Giri Govardhan Mountain, Rs 10 lakh for the cultural pavilion in Farsabahar, Rs 12 lakh for Shiv Mandir to Kasatoli.
Had promised to purchase paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal
Vishnudev government of Chhattisgarh has started Krishak Unnati Yojana. Under this scheme, the difference amount of paddy will be paid to the farmers. Let us tell you that currently the paddy has been purchased at the support price, whereas in the election manifesto, BJP had promised to purchase paddy from the farmers at Rs 3100 per quintal. Now the state government will pay the difference amount of about Rs 900 per quintal on March 12. This was announced by CM Sai Sarkar during his visit to Jashpur today.
