CG coal mine accident: Injured Laxman Markam dies during treatment, three still trapped, rescue continues

Manoj Yadav, Korba. Another update has come regarding the accident in SECL’s Deepka coal mine. Laxman Markam, who was injured in the accident, died during treatment. While extracting coal from the mine, five people were buried due to mudslide. Out of which two people were injured. One of them was in critical condition while the other had minor injuries.

There was a stir in the area after this incident. Korba Collector Ajit Vasant and SP Siddharth Tiwari, who reached the information, took information about the entire incident on Thursday. Rescue of three of the five buried people is still going on. The rescue team of the district administration is present on the spot.

Let us tell you that this incident took place in Suvabhodi village of Deepka mine of Hardi Bazar police station area. In which five people resident of Bamhani Kona had gone on bicycle to steal coal. Meanwhile, five people got buried due to sudden mudslide. Out of which Amit Saruta survived for 17 years. Whereas Laxman Markam had suffered a waist injury. Who was taken to the primary health center Hardi Bazar. Three villagers are still trapped in the mine. The villagers and police team are busy in taking them out.
