The woman from Greater Noida said in the report that she was married to Mohit Mohan, a resident of Elite Golf Greens, on 24 November 2020. Just a day or two after the marriage, her husband Mohit Mohan and his family members started abusing and beating her. Her in-laws started pressurizing her to bring Rs 25 lakh to Nagar and a Fortuner car from her parents’ home.

When he refused, he was often abused. During this time her mother-in-law kept all her jewelery in the locker. She alleges that her husband Mohan had an illicit relationship with a woman named Rashmi Singh; one day she caught both of them in an objectionable situation at home. On whom someone was assaulted.

According to the woman, when she talked to her in-laws about this, they instead accused her of defaming the family. On August 29, 2023, her father-in-law molested her. When she complained about this to her in-laws, they beat her up and strangulated her with the intention of killing her.

With the help of these cameras, the father-in-law has made videos of her taking bath and changing clothes.
