Case of worship in the basement of Gyanvapi: Muslim side did not get relief from Allahabad High Court, next hearing will be on 12 February

Prayagraj. In the Gyanvapi case, the Muslim side had filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court against allowing puja. The Allahabad High Court heard the matter today, during which, after the arguments presented by all the parties in the court, the court fixed the date for the next hearing of the case. Now the next hearing in this case will be held on 12th February.

Let us tell you that a petition was filed in the Allahabad High Court by the Anjuman Arrangements Masjid Committee against the decision of the District Court to offer worship in Talgrah of Vyasji. Earlier, on Tuesday i.e. 6th February, hearing was held on the appeal filed in Allahabad High Court. The Muslim side presented its views before Judge Rohit Ranjan Aggarwal. He said that the court gave permission to worship in the Muslim basement without any application. Today, after arguments presented by all the parties in the court for about two and a half hours, the High Court fixed the date of next hearing on 12th, during which the puja will continue in the basement of Vyas ji located in Gyanvapi.

Both sides were advised to avoid media trial

On this matter, the temple side says that the judge had given this decision with discretion under section 151 on the appeal filed by the Muslim side. After this, the court ordered the hearing again on 7th February i.e. Wednesday and also advised both the parties to avoid media trial during the hearing.
