KOLKATA: West Bengal Leader Minister Mamata Banerjee, who suffered a ligament damage on her left knee whilst alighting from a helicopter remaining week, on Thursday underwent a minor surgical operation as a part of the rehabilitation programme.
Banerjee underwent orthopaedic intervention on the state-run SSKM Clinic right here, a senior physician, who is part of the staff treating her, stated.
She used to be discharged after the surgical operation and the CM returned house in a wheelchair.
“She is healthier now. However, she should be on leisure at house. We can take a decision at the subsequent process remedy in a couple of days,” the physician informed PTI.
Orthopaedic intervention is a rehabilitation programme intended to assist other people get well from musculoskeletal accidents or the ones affecting muscle tissues, bones, cartilage, tendons and ligaments, he stated.
