Violence in UP’s Bhadohi after police check out to take away ‘illegally’ put in Ambedkar statue

BHADOHI: A bunch of other people on Saturday pelted stones at police group of workers when check out attempted to take away a statue of B R Ambedkar that was once allegedly illegally put in in a single day, leaving two police officers injured, a senior respectable stated.

Circle Officer (CO) Bhubaneshwar Kumar Pandey stated police used “minor power” to disperse the violent crowd within the Bhadohi police station space.

A complete of eleven other people, together with 3 girls, had been arrested at the spot, the police stated.

Pandey stated that the Ambedkar statue was once put in on a platform on Friday night time at the land designated for a pond in Mushilatpur village within the town Kotwali space.
