‘Devastating Loss’: Large Hearth Destroys New Jersey Church

FLORENCE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — Hearth destroyed a big New Jersey church, collapsing its roof as greater than 150 firefighters fought to keep watch over the blaze.

No accidents have been reported within the hearth, which began at about 6 p.m. Monday. The purpose wasn’t straight away recognized.

“The church isn’t brick and mortar, the church is in reality the frame of believers,” Hodgins instructed the station. “God will assist us thru this, and I imagine the church can be more potent than ever.”

The middle describes itself on its website online as a multipurpose, 120,000-square-foot facility with a preschool, basketball courts, and a health club. The college and sport construction survived the hearth, consistent with information reviews.
