Collector Mr. Chandan Kumar issued an order stating January 26 as “Republic Day” and January 30 as “Mahatma Gandhi Nirvana Day” as dry days. At the instance of “Republic Day” on 26 January 2023 and “Mahatma Gandhi Nirvana Day” on 30 January 2023, all forms of liquor stores and licenses positioned in Bastar district i.e. nation liquor CS2 (DD), international liquor Fl.1 (dd), Fl. 3 (Resort Bar), Fl. 7 (Sainik Canteen) and Liquor Retailer Jagdalpur had been ordered to be closed after the period of time on 25 and 29 January 2023 and to be utterly closed on 26 and 30 January 2023.
