HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Rapper Meek Mill, who spent maximum of his grownup existence on probation following a teenage arrest, celebrated the newest twist in his prison case Friday after he was once pardoned by way of Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf.
“I were given pardoned these days,” the 35-year-old rapper born Robert Williams tweeted, noting he has come some distance.
Underneath a photograph of the pardon on Instagram, the Philadelphia rapper-turned-entrepreneur, who has been lively in felony justice reform for years, vowed to stay doing extra for his neighborhood.
Wolf signed his ultimate 369 pardons this week, including to his Pennsylvania document of selection of pardons granted since he took place of job in 2015. Williams was once pardoned of gun and drug fees.
