A committee has been constituted through the Governor and Chancellor Ms. Anusuiya Uike for the appointment of the Vice Chancellor of Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Vishwavidyalaya Raipur below the provisions contained in sub-section (2) of Segment 13 of the Chhattisgarh College Act, 1973 (No. 22 of 1973). The chairman of the stated committee, Dr. Surendra Dubey, former Vice-Chancellor of Bundelkhand College, Jhansi and Siddharth College, Padma Shri Dr. A.T. Dabke and Director of the Indian Institute of Generation, Dharwad, Professor Venkappaya R. Desai will likely be a member. This committee will put up a panel of 3 individuals to the Chancellor for appointment as Vice-Chancellor inside of 6 weeks from the date of flow of the notification. A notification on this regard has been issued on December 13 from the Raj Bhavan Secretariat.
