NEW DELHI: The College Grants Fee (UGC) on Friday introduced a brand new, reframed and changed draft of Deemed to be Universities Laws 2022 to align with the wider insurance policies of upper training as contained within the Nationwide Schooling Coverage (NEP), 2020.
UGC chairman Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar instructed this newspaper that those rules were framed to keep an eye on the method of pointing out establishments of educational excellence as deemed universities in a scientific way and to handle the standard of upper training supplied via establishments thought to be to be universities in step with the beliefs of the concept that of a college.
