INDORE: Citizens of a village in Indore in Madhya Pradesh have dismantled a rope bridge over a nullah (main drain) from which a farmer fell and died lately after state minister Tulsiram Silawat promised to exchange it with an everlasting construction, a panchayat professional stated on Friday.
Farmer Premnarayan Patel (45) of Silotia village had fallen off the bridge and into the nullah on Monday, resulting in Tilwat, the state’s water assets minister, visiting the spot on Thursday.
Silwat introduced he would sanction Rs 15 lakh for the brand new bridge and in addition passed over Rs 4 lakh as ex-gratia to Patel’s family, as in line with native officers.
“After Silawat’s announcement to construct an everlasting bridge, other folks right here have dismantled the rope bridge.
