SERAIKELA (Jharkhand): The officer-in-charge of a police station in Jharkhand’s Seraikela-Kharswan district was once suspended on Thursday after an 18-year-old guy, who was once detained for wondering, was once discovered putting inside of it, a police officer stated.
The person, a resident of Dhalbhumgarh in East Singhbhum district, was once taken into custody not too long ago for interrogation after he allegedly eloped with a minor lady on October 26.
The lady’s circle of relatives went to Dhalbhumgarh and taken her and the person to the Bal Mitra thana (child-friendly police station) right here day after today. The lady was once allowed to head house whilst his boyfriend was once detained.
The person allegedly used his belt to hold himself to loss of life inside of a mobile of the Bal Mitra police station inside the campus of Seraikela police station on Wednesday.
Superintendent of Police Anand Prakash inspected the police station following the incident and suspended Officer-in-Price Manohar Kumar.
The SP requested Seraikela Circle Inspector Ram Anup Mahato to take over the price until additional order.
When contacted, the SP showed the suspension of Kumar.
“We’ve ordered an inquiry by way of a Justice of the Peace as according to the information of the Nationwide Human Rights Fee. Steps will likely be initiated in opposition to the erring police workforce,” Prakash stated.
