Police grasp 21 kg of heroin from truck on Jammu-Srinagar freeway, motive force detained

JAMMU: Police detained a truck motive force on Sunday after heroin weighing greater than 21 kg used to be seized from his car at the Jammu-Srinagar nationwide freeway in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur.

“All through the checking of cars at 0 Level at the freeway at Chenani, a truck coming from Kashmir and pushed through Kulwinder Singh of Punjab’s Nawanshahr used to be intercepted,” Further Director Basic of Police (ADGP) Mukesh Singh mentioned.

On a seek of the car, 18 packets of heroin, weighing round 21.5 kg, had been seized, he added.
