Khushbu, 20, daughter of 1 Bikram Singh, a resident of Kithaut, had long gone lacking on November 20, 2020, police stated.
After she was once reported lacking, a case was once registered in opposition to Gaurav below sections 363 (kidnapping) and 366 (kidnapping, abducting or inducing a lady to compel her marriage) of the IPC.
“Police had been on the lookout for Khushbu and Gaurav for the previous two years,” Circle Officer, Sirsaganj, Anivesh Kumar stated.
“On Saturday, Gaurav was once arrested. He instructed police that Khushbu were pressuring him to marry her. So on November 21, he killed her with poison, and buried her frame within the room (of his space), and put issues over it. After this, he fled together with his circle of relatives,” Kumar stated.
“A case of homicide (segment 302 of IPC) has been registered in opposition to Gaurav and his father Munnalal, and they’ve been despatched to prison,” he added.
