Kushinagar: The UP STF has arrested an Indian nationwide who had escaped from Saudi Arabia via embezzling Rs 1 crore 85 lakh. Initially from Kushinagar, the Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia had despatched a letter to the Superintendent of Police for motion in opposition to Rafiq. After this, the STF of Uttar Pradesh along side the district police arrested him on Tuesday night time. For the final 3 months, Rafiq used to be sitting in hiding in Bihar.
In keeping with the police, Rafiq has been arrested at the warrant of the court docket. He used to be produced within the court docket on Wednesday. Tahir and Hassan run an Ayurveda store in Saudi Arabia. Rafiq Shah, a resident of Piprahia, Kasaya, used to paintings as a salesperson at this store. On this case, Tahir’s father Yunus Khan filed a case in Kasaya police station on 3 November 2021. After investigation, the police despatched the price sheet within the case. After the awareness of the court docket, the accused Rafiq didn’t seem within the court docket. 3 months again, the court docket issued a non-bailable warrant in opposition to him. When the Kasaya police may no longer arrest him, he sought assist from Gorakhpur STF. With the assistance of STF, Kasaya police stuck him.
