Oscar profitable actress Julianne Moore will head the primary pageant jury at this 12 months’s Venice Movie Pageant, organisers mentioned on Friday.
Moore can be joined in deciding this 12 months’s winners through French director Audrey Diwan, who scooped the competition’s Golden Lion award ultimate 12 months for her movie “Taking place”, Iranian actress Leila Hatami, Italian director Leonardo Di Costanzo and Nobel Prize profitable creator Kazuo Ishiguro.
Argentine director and screenwriter Mariano Cohn and Spanish filmmaker Rodrigo Sorogoyen will entire the global jury, which assigns the competition’s primary pageant awards, together with the Golden Lion.
The 79th version of the competition, held at the lagoon town’s Lido island, will run from August 31 to September 10.
