NEW DELHI: High Minister Narendra Modi on Friday spoke with Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at the cloudburst close to the cave shrine of Amarnath in south Kashmir Himalayas, and stated all conceivable help is being equipped to the affected.
A minimum of 10 other people have been killed within the cloudburst Friday night, destructive 25 tents and 3 neighborhood kitchens, officers stated.
The cloudburst struck round 5.30 pm amid heavy rainfall, they stated. “Anguished through the cloud burst close to Shree Amarnath cave. Condolences to the bereaved households. Spoke to @manojsinha_ Ji and took inventory of the location,” Modi stated in a tweet.
“Rescue and reduction operations are underway. All conceivable help is being equipped to the affected,” he stated.
